They say that there are two important birthdays in a woman’s life: her 18th and her 50th. Since my mom, Maricar, wasn’t able to throw a party for her 18th, she made sure that the day she turns 50 would be something really memorable. She dubs it as her debut! Haha!
After some weeks of preparation, the day finally came. We celebrated it on her actual birth date, November 29 at the Midas Hotel. It was an intimate gathering of immediate family members, relatives and some friends. My sister and I hosted the program. It was actually my sister’s first time to do such thing and fortunately, things flowed smoothly. I swear, we have a back-up career plan already! Preparation for my dreams of becoming an event planner. :))
The ambiance of the place is nice and the food is really good. I only realized now that it was just apt to have my mom’s birthday there. Midas = Gold = 50. Lol.
Lucky and thankful to have her as my mom. Happy 50th Birthday again, dear mother! 😀

Yeah, I turned 21. And so far, I’ve been using my birthday week to justify all the pigging out these past days. I think I’ve gained 21 lbs so far. 😦 LOL. You want proof?
The day after I celebrated my birthday at Kyss, there was a dinner party at home with family and relatives. It was actually a joint celebration for me and my sister. She’ll have her Sweet 16th on the 30th. Hahaha. My cousin also shares the same birthday with me.

My sister and I made our lola do the thumbs up! Cuuute!
The following day was my actual birthday. Had lunch at Uncle Cheffy in Burgos Circle with Karen and Lucy. It was my first time to eat there and their food is really great. We had the steak sampler – 3 different steaks in one order. Yum! And their servings are quite big too!

Three different kinds of steak!
Thanks for having lunch with me on my birthdaaaay! 🙂
And of course, shoot for Lookbook! Haha!
Then it’s shabu-shabu with the family for my birthday dinner. By this time, I was really struggling to finish the food. So fulllll.
Shabu-shabu for dinner
Had the same dilemma for the next few days. Lots of food at home + sem break = #BuhayBaboy. Hahaha! I SWEAR, fit lifestyle shall commence again NOW (and will stop again during the Christmas season. :)) )
Anyway, here’s what I wore on my birthday. Hype this look on Lookbook here! 😀
I just turned 21 years old. In legal speak, that means I don’t need parental consent anymore to get married (not that I want to!). I can also run for the mayoralty position in my city. And basically, I am now of legal age in almost all countries! Haha! (Hello, Vegas!)
In casual terms, it’s my debut!!! :)) Celebrated last Friday with my friends at Kyss. Such a fun night! Many people got wild and drunk. The night ended with an unexpected surprise! Haha.
Thanks to all those who came! I feel so loved. ❤ Lol. I really despise getting older but I welcome the fact that it is an opportunity to grow better and wiser.
And oh yeah, before the party, I was able to check my grades. I know I could have done better, but at least I passed my law subjects! Perfect birthday gift. Will definitely double my efforts next semester. 🙂
